What if I feel nervous about joining?

That’s natural. Most women arrive with butterflies. You don’t need to show up “ready” — just willing. From the moment you step into the circle, you’ll be held with compassion, and everything unfolds at your pace.

Do I need to share my personal story?

No. You’ll never be pushed to share more than you feel comfortable with. Some women speak, some don’t — both are valid. Transformation happens through the practices, rituals, and energy of the space, not performance.

Is this suitable if I’ve never done somatic or retreat work before?

Absolutely. You don’t need prior experience — just a willingness to explore. Every practice is guided step by step, trauma-informed, and gentle. You’ll be supported whether this is your first retreat or your fiftieth.

Will I leave feeling raw or drained?

The work can be powerful, but it’s never about ripping you open and leaving you exposed. You’ll be guided through safe release and then into grounding, integration, and nourishment. Women often leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected — not depleted.

What if I struggle with childcare, travel, or logistics?

I get it — life doesn’t pause just because you’re healing. This is a non-residential retreat, so you can stay nearby or return home each night, whatever works best for your family and commitments. If you’re worried about the details, reach out — we’ll help you make it doable.

What if I feel guilty spending money on myself?

Many women hesitate here, because we’ve been conditioned to put everyone else first. But investing in yourself ripples outward — into your family, your relationships, and your work. This isn’t indulgence, it’s reclamation. When you rise, everything around you shifts too.

What is provided at the retreat?

We provide all meals and refreshments throughout the retreat, including a light lunch, dinner, and plenty of nourishing snacks and drinks. Workshop materials, sacred tools for rituals, and all activities are included in the retreat price.

Is there parking available at the retreat?

Yes, there is parking available at The Alchemist Retreat for all attendees. Detailed directions and parking instructions will be sent upon booking.

Is the retreat accessible by public transport?

Yes, The Alchemist Retreat is accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Havant, which is approximately 10 minutes away by taxi. Local bus services also connect nearby towns to the retreat location. We’ll provide more specific transport details once you reserve your place.

What should I bring?

Please bring comfortable clothing suitable for movement and relaxation.

For our woodland walk and any outdoor activities, we recommend sturdy, comfortable footwear suitable for walking in nature. Please keep in mind that the terrain can sometimes be muddy, so waterproof shoes or boots are ideal.

Depending on the season and weather forecast, please bring a coat or layers if the weather is cool, as we will be outdoors for our nature walk and other activities.

Also, bring a journal, any personal sacred items you’d like for the rituals, and an open heart ready for transformation!

Also footwear that can be slipped on and off easily to move from my home to the home studio.
