The Belonging

A self-love retreat for women ready to stop abandoning themselves

This is not about learning how to love yourself in theory.
It’s about learning how to stay with yourself when it actually matters.

When you’re triggered.
When you doubt yourself.
When the instinct to disappear kicks in.

From there, self-worth and self-love grow naturally.

You’ve done the work

So why do you still disappear when it matters?

You’ve checked every box on the Good Girl Healing Checklist.
And yet, when it really matters, you still disappear.

Not because you haven’t tried hard enough.
But because none of it taught you what to do in the moment your body wants out.

You’ve tried:

Affirmations
Useful for insight, but powerless in the moment your body goes into protection

Insight-based therapy
You understand your patterns, but can’t interrupt them in real time.

Spiritual practices
Crystals, rituals, mantras. Useful, until bypassing stopped working.

Mindset work & self-talk
You can coach yourself through a crisis, but can’t feel yourself through one.

“Love yourself” messaging
Which quietly left you feeling ashamed for not being able to do it.

You don’t need another method that leaves you out of your body.
You need a way back in

This is not a failure of effort

There is nothing wrong with you
You were never taught how to stay

Most healing work stops at insight.

You understand where your patterns came from.
You can name the wounds.
You know why you do what you do.

But insight doesn’t help in the moment your chest tightens,
your stomach drops,
and your instinct is to disappear.

You were never shown how to stay when connection felt uncertain.

When shame rises.
When the thought “I’m not lovable” appears.
When your body prepares to protect you by going quiet, shrinking, or turning against itself.

This work is not about fixing you.
It’s about staying with yourself when it matters.

This is where things start to change

Where self-love stops being a concept & becomes something you can actually do

Inside The Belonging, we don’t talk about self-love here.

We practise what self-love actually looks like in real life.

You’ll be guided through grounded, embodied practices designed to:

  • Interrupt self-abandonment as it happens

  • Create steadiness without forcing openness

  • Learn how to anchor yourself under pressure

No breakdowns.
No oversharing.
No emotional exposés.

Just clear structure, choice, and support as something new begins to land.

What we (re)build together

What changes when you stop abandoning yourself

This is not about becoming a “new you”.

It’s about staying with the you who already exists,
especially in the moments you were never supported to.

Women leave with:

✔️ The ability to stay present when your shame script kicks in (without spiraling)

✔️ A sense of being on their own side, even when they feel messy or “too much”

✔️ Less internal collapse and more steadiness

✔️ Greater ease receiving care, support, and actual rest

✔️ A self-relationship that holds when life gets hard, not just when it’s calm

From here, you stop leaving yourself when things feel uncomfortable. Everything else grows from that

This space is for you if…

You isolate when you feel unlovable

You go quiet instead of reaching out

You know the work, but still disappear when it matters

You want connection but don’t fully trust it

You’re tired of managing yourself through every feeling

This is not about pushing through,
It's about staying

How The Belonging is held

A grounded, contained self-love retreat designed for safety, not overwhelm

The Belonging is designed with clarity, pacing, and care at its core.

The container includes:

  • A two-day, in-person, non-residential experience

  • A maximum of six women for depth and intimacy

  • Clear facilitation and strong boundaries

  • Choice-led, embodied practices that are explained as we go

  • A printed workbook as an anchor, not homework

  • An optional 30-day WhatsApp integration space

Returning to your own space each evening allows what’s opened to settle, rather than overwhelm.

The Arc of the Two Days

DAY ONE: ARRIVAL & RECLAMATION

Theme: Orient. Ground. Stay.

You’ll arrive gently into the space and into yourself.

We begin by slowing things down, helping your system come out of “get out” mode and into something steadier.

Expect:

  • Grounding and orientation practices

  • Breathwork and silent counselling

  • Nature-based rituals

  • Gentle creative inquiry

  • Introduction to the practice of staying

DAY TWO: INTEGRATION & INITIATION

Theme: Repattern. Receive. Return.

Day Two deepens.

You’ll rehearse the very moments you usually disappear.

This time, you stay.

Expect:

  • Embodied repatterning

  • Non-performative relational practices

  • Sacred witnessing and intention setting

  • Time outdoors for rest and reflection

  • A clear, body-led sense of closure

You’ll leave with more than insight.

You’ll leave with a felt memory in your body that says:
"I stayed, & I didn’t disappear."

What makes this space feel different

This is a small group, intentionally kept that way so there’s room to breathe, soften, and be human.

You’re never pushed to share or expose yourself. There’s no expectation to perform healing or prove how much work you’ve done.

Everything is clearly held and explained. Nothing is sprung on you, and you always know what’s happening and why.

The focus stays in the body rather than the story. Less analysing. Less retelling. More lived experience.

And because this is non-residential, you return to your own space each evening, allowing what’s opened to settle gently rather than overwhelm your system.

Why this self-love retreat actually lasts

This is not about intensity.
It’s about continuity.

Most retreats end when you leave the room.
You’re expected to hold everything on your own.

The Belonging is built differently.

It recognises that the real work happens after the experience,
when life resumes and old habits quietly return.

The belonging - self-love retreat Hampshire x4

What happens after the retreat matters.

You’ll also be invited into a 30-day WhatsApp integration space.

This is not an extension of the retreat you have to keep up with.
It’s a place to return to as real life resumes.

Inside the space, you’ll receive:

Occasional voice note reflections to gently re-orient you
Gentle journal prompts to help things land
Simple ritual or grounding invitations you can use in everyday moments
Reminders of how to come back to yourself when old patterns surface

There is no expectation to engage.
You don’t need to post, respond, or explain yourself.

The space exists to support integration without pressure.

This matters, because the hardest part is often not the retreat itself, but what happens afterwards. When insight fades, life speeds up, and familiar habits quietly return.

This space is designed to help you stay with what you’ve begun.

It’s not a community you have to maintain.
It’s something you can return to when you notice yourself starting to drift.

You’ll also have access to two gentle AI companions, designed as quiet points of support.

They’re there for moments when you need:
– grounding
– reflection
– a reminder of the practice of staying

Not tools to analyse yourself.
Just something steady to meet you where you are, when you need it.

The Alchemist Retreat

The Space Holding This Work

The Belonging takes place at The Alchemist Retreat, my home and private garden studio in Havant.

This is not a hired venue.
It is a lived-in, carefully held space that I share intentionally.

The work we are doing requires warmth, familiarity, and containment, not anonymity.

The retreat space includes:

  • A cosy indoor studio designed for small-group work

  • A private garden for rest, and reflection

  • Quiet places to step away when needed

  • A pace that honours privacy and choice

Being welcomed into a home setting softens everything

 It reduces performance.
It invites you to arrive as you are.

This is not about impressing.
It’s about belonging while you learn how to stay.

A tranquil gravel path leading through a peaceful garden, symbolising the journey of personal transformation.
A peaceful corner of The Alchemist Retreat grounds, offering a safe, nurturing space for personal growth and reflection.
The lush retreat gardens at The Alchemist Retreat, promoting healing and connection to nature.

A Land That Supports the Work

The Alchemist Retreat sits on land long associated with water, rest, & restoration way back to roman times & beyond

Havant is home to natural springs and quiet green spaces that naturally support slowing down, grounding, and reflection.

You don’t need to believe anything mystical for this to matter.

Bodies respond to environments that are calm, human-scaled, and alive.

This one is.

Nourishment as Part of the Container

Food is included. Thoughtfully.

You don’t need to organise meals or think ahead.

Across the two days, you’ll be nourished with grounding, plant-based food, professionally catered by a vegan caterer.

Expect:

  • Nourishing meals

  • Plenty to eat and drink

  • Space to pause and actually receive nourishment

Many women notice this is the first time they’ve eaten without staying alert.

That matters.

“I realised that the version of myself I thought existed was just a scrapbook of comments and reactions from others. I don’t need to live by that version of me. I can envision myself any way I please.”

Jo Edney Energy Healer

“The space Tania holds is just beautiful. It’s a perfect cocoon where you feel so utterly authentic that you don’t hesitate to dissolve into yourself. It feels as if the container sits outside of time and space.”

— Participant

“I prefer intimate spaces. Large group retreats don’t appeal to me as an introvert. This experience felt inspiring, empowering, and deeply supportive, and I feel ready for the next phase of my journey.”

— Claire Noller, Equine Facilitated Wellbeing

“The balance between depth and gentleness allowed everything to land. I left feeling grounded, empowered, and clear about my next steps.”

FAQ

That’s normal.

Many women feel a mix of curiosity, hesitation, and self-doubt before stepping into something new.

You are not expected to arrive confident or certain.
This work meets you where you are, not where you think you should be.

Nervousness is not a sign you shouldn’t come.
It’s often a sign something honest is being approached.

No.

You are never required to share, explain, or disclose your story.

This is not a talking circle or group therapy space.
Much of the work is somatic, internal, and experiential.

You always choose how visible or private you are.

That is anticipated and respected.

You are free to step outside, sit quietly, or take a pause whenever you need.

Nothing is sprung on you.
Every practice is explained before it happens.
Choice is built into the structure.

This is not about pushing through.

Relearning Relationship is for women who understand their patterns, but notice that insight alone hasn’t translated into safety or steadiness in real life.

This is not about learning more.
It’s about practicing something different.

Silent Counselling is a non-verbal process that supports nervous system regulation and release without retelling your story.

You are guided internally, without analysis or explanation.

It allows the body to process what the mind already understands, but hasn’t been able to shift.
